The Ministry of Development Allocates Over 380 Million RON for PNRR-Funded Projects

The Ministry of Development has transferred over 380 million RON for projects financed through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), while the absorption rate of European funds at the Ministry of Development has increased from 15% to 26% in the past two months, announced Minister Cseke Attila.

"In the last two months, the ministry's priority has been to evaluate payment requests and settle outstanding invoices under PNRR. As a result, we have achieved significant progress in the absorption of European funds," stated the minister.

This week, the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration (MDLPA) settled invoices amounting to 382,603,098.26 RON for 521 projects implemented through PNRR. In total, the ministry has reimbursed nearly 7 billion RON under PNRR, according to Minister Cseke Attila.

Breakdown of Allocations:

• Component C5 – Renovation Wave: 196,780,074.75 RON was reimbursed for 204 projects aimed at seismic and energy renovation of public and multi-residential buildings.
• Component C10 – Local Fund: 184,571,552.10 RON was allocated for 307 projects, focusing on urban planning documentation updates and green transport infrastructure.
• Component C15 – Education: 1,251,471.41 RON was allocated for the construction of 10 new nurseries.

"The National Recovery and Resilience Plan is a key driver of local community development. We are making every effort to ensure the necessary funding for these investments in 2025," concluded Cseke Attila.
