COMPANIA NAȚIONALĂ DE ADMINISTRARE A INFRASTRUCTURII RUTIERE S.A., as the Applicant, has developed and submitted on May 8, 2024, the Funding Request for the project "Construction of the Barlad Bypass - Phase 2" for the purpose of obtaining non-reimbursable financing allocated through the Transport Program, within the framework of RSO3.1_Developing a TEN-T network resilient to climate change, intelligent, safe, sustainable, and intermodal Priority:
P2. Improving secondary road connectivity; Specific objective 3.1 Developing a TEN-T network resilient to climate change, intelligent, safe, sustainable, and intermodal Fund: Cohesion Fund; Operation: Actions contributing to achieving Specific Objective SO 3.1.
The overall objective of the project:
The project maintains its initial objectives, with a designed road section length of 11.281 km; bridges: 4 pcs; passages: 3 pcs; intersections: 2 pcs; parking lots: 2 pcs, with the specification that for a unified approach to implementation and monitoring, quantifiable and auditable phasing indicators have been identified, corresponding to the 2 phases, as follows:
Phase 1 - works executed and paid for by the date of this funding request, i.e., works settled under the design and construction works contract;
Phase 2 - works executed and paid for during the eligibility period for the 2021-2027 Transport Program. In Phase 1, 3 bridges and 2 passages were constructed.
The specific objective of the project is: Construction of 1 bridge, 1 passage, 2 intersections, 2 parking lots, and 11.281 km of road (Phase 2).
The total value of the project is 96,922,895.96 lei and will be financed through the Transport Program as follows:
European Union contribution from the European Regional Development Fund – 32,920,695.53 lei, own contribution – 49,381,043.30 lei, the difference up to the total project value representing ineligible expenses.
