The National Credit Guarantee Fund for Small and Medium Enterprises announces to potential beneficiaries that the NOUA CASĂ 2024 Program has become operational after the guarantee ceiling approved by the Ministry of Finance in the amount of 1 billion lei was allocated to the 16 participating lenders.

The NOUA CASĂ program remains an advantageous lending product, both in terms of the minimum required down payment and the reduced administration fees this year by 50% (from 0.30% per year to 0.15% per year, calculated on the guarantee balance).

Another modification introduced to the program in the 2024 edition is a 30% reduction in notarial fees for authenticating sales-purchase contracts and any other acts concluded, with certain exceptions expressly provided for in the applicable legislation.

Thus, Romanians who wish to purchase a home can apply to one of the partner banks - Alpha Bank, BRD-GSG, BCR, Banca Transilvania, CEC Bank, ING Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Libra Intrnet Bank, OTP Bank, EXIM Banca Românească, Unicredit Bank, Garanti Bank, First Bank, Vista Bank, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, and Techventures Bank - for the preparation of the credit file and its submission to FNGCIMM for obtaining the state guarantee.

Since the launch of the PRIMA CASĂ Program in 2009 until the end of December 2023, 333,219 guarantees and guarantee promises totaling 31.57 billion lei have been granted, supporting loans worth 63.8 billion lei. The effective default rate of guarantees is 0.316%, significantly below the non-performing loan rate for loans to individual borrowers across the entire banking system.
