At the proposal of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration, the Government has decided to allocate the amount of 500 million Romanian Lei from the Government's Budgetary Reserve Fund, as provided in the state budget for the year 2023. This allocation is intended to ensure the continuity of various investment programs by honoring transfer requests received by the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration.

Here is how the allocation will be distributed among different programs:

  1. The budget of the National Local Development Program will be increased by 175 million Lei.
  2. The National Investment Program "Anghel Saligny" will receive an allocation of 100 million Lei.
  3. The National Program for Public or Social Housing Construction will be allocated 200 million Lei.
  4. An additional 25 million Lei will be used for commitment and budgetary credits to cover personnel expenses and the payment of final and irrevocable court judgments.

These funds are crucial for ensuring the continued implementation of national investment programs in the upcoming period.

Since most construction works on these projects are carried out during the summer, it is essential to secure the financial resources to maintain an efficient and smooth investment process, prevent arrears, and uphold the commitments made by the state.

This allocation provides support to local public administration authorities in developing technical and utility infrastructure, as well as improving access to communication routes. The ultimate goal is to enhance the living conditions in local communities. Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea emphasized the importance of this allocation in furthering these objectives.
