Compared to March 2023, the volume of construction works decreased by 3.5% in gross series and by 1.2% in series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

During the period from January 1 to March 31, 2024, the volume of construction works decreased compared to the period from January 1 to March 31, 2023, by 7.1% in gross series and by 7.9% in series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

March 2024 compared to February 2024

The volume of construction works increased, in gross series, by 43.7%, with increases observed in current maintenance and repair works (+51.7%), new construction works (+43.5%), and major repair works (+29.3%).

On construction objects, increases occurred as follows: engineering construction works (+58.2%), residential buildings (+46.5%), and non-residential buildings (+20.2%). The volume of construction works increased, in series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, by 9.1%, with increases observed in new construction works (+13.4%) and current maintenance and repair works (+1.7%). Major repair works decreased by 11.0%.

On construction objects, the volume of construction works increased for engineering constructions (+11.0%) and residential buildings (+6.3%). Non-residential buildings decreased by 10.4%.

March 2024 compared to March 2023

The volume of construction works, in gross series, decreased overall by 3.5%. Decreases were recorded in current maintenance and repair works (-7.3%) and new construction works (-3.5%). Major repair works increased by 6.3%.

On construction objects, decreases were recorded in residential buildings (-24.7%) and non-residential buildings (-10.2%).

Engineering constructions increased by 13.7%. In series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the volume of construction works decreased overall by 1.2%. Decreases were observed in current maintenance and repair works (-8.1%) and new construction works (-0.1%). Major repair works increased by 11.4%.

On construction objects, the volume of construction works decreased for residential buildings (-22.8%) and non-residential buildings (-7.0%). Engineering constructions increased by 17.1%.

Period from January 1 to March 31, 2024, compared to the period from January 1 to March 31, 2023

The volume of construction works, in gross series, decreased overall by 7.1%. Decreases were recorded in new construction works (-9.0%) and current maintenance and repair works (-6.7%). Major repair works increased by 6.7%. Decreases were recorded in residential buildings (-34.1%) and non-residential buildings (-1.6%).

Engineering constructions increased by 6.8%. The volume of construction works decreased, in series adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, by 7.9%. New construction works and current maintenance and repair works decreased by 10.8% and 1.7%, respectively.

Major repair works increased by 9.1%. On construction objects, there was a decrease in residential buildings (-31.8%). Engineering constructions and non-residential buildings increased by 9.2% and 1.5%, respectively.
