April 2024 compared to March 2024

The volume of construction works increased, as gross series by 10.3%, with noticeable growth in current maintenance and repair works (+28.1%), major repairs (+13.0%), and new construction works (+4.3%).

By construction objects, increases were observed in non-residential buildings (+15.6%), residential buildings (+15.3%), and engineering constructions (+5.5%).

The volume of construction works increased, adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, by 8.0%, with notable growth in current maintenance and repair works (+17.7%), major repairs (+4.1%), and new construction works (+1.4%).

By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased for non-residential buildings (+11.0%), residential buildings (+8.6%), and engineering constructions (+0.7%).

April 2024 compared to April 2023

The volume of construction works, as gross series, increased overall by 16.2%. By structural elements, increases were noted in current maintenance and repair works (+30.3%), major repairs (+14.9%), and new construction works (+11.8%).

By construction objects, increases were recorded in engineering constructions (+21.4%), non-residential buildings (+18.5%), and residential buildings (+3.6%).

Adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the volume of construction works increased overall by 13.1%.

By structural elements, increases occurred in current maintenance and repair works (+27.4%), major repairs (+10.6%), and new construction works (+7.5%).

By construction objects, the volume of construction works increased for engineering constructions (+16.9%), non-residential buildings (+14.4%), and residential buildings (+1.2%).

January 1 - April 30, 2024 compared to January 1 - April 30, 2023

The volume of construction works, as gross series, decreased overall by 0.2%, primarily due to a decline in new construction works (-3.0%).

Major repairs and current maintenance and repair works increased by 9.5% and 4.6%, respectively. By construction objects, there was a decline in residential buildings (-23.6%), while engineering constructions and non-residential buildings increased by 11.2% and 4.3%, respectively.

Adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the volume of construction works decreased by 2.6%. New construction works decreased by 6.4%.

Major repairs and current maintenance and repair works increased by 9.7% and 6.1%, respectively.
