In September 2023, the volume of construction works decreased compared to August 2023, by 0.1% in gross terms and by 1.9% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

In September 2023, the volume of construction works increased compared to September 2022, by 9.3% in gross terms and by 10.3% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

For the period from January 1 to September 30, 2023, the volume of construction works increased compared to the same period in 2022, by 12.5% in gross terms and by 13.1% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

September 2023 compared to August 2023:

  • The volume of construction works decreased by 0.1%, with a noticeable decline in maintenance and current repair works (-1.3%) and new construction works (-0.1%). Capital repair works increased by 2.7%.
  • Regarding construction objects, there were decreases in engineering constructions (-1.1%) and residential buildings (-0.6%). Non-residential buildings increased by 2.5%.
  • The volume of construction works decreased, adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, by 1.9%, with significant declines in maintenance and current repair works (-7.0%), new construction works (-2.2%), and capital repair works (-1.8%).
  • Regarding construction objects, the volume of construction works decreased for non-residential buildings (-6.5%), residential buildings (-4.4%), and engineering constructions (-3.0%).

September 2023 compared to September 2022:

  • The volume of construction works, in gross terms, increased overall by 9.3%. In terms of structure, there was growth in new construction works (+15.8%), while maintenance and current repair works and capital repair works decreased by 4.0% and 1.0%, respectively.
  • Regarding construction objects, increases were recorded in engineering constructions (+24.0%) and non-residential buildings (+1.3%), while residential buildings decreased by 11.5%.
  • Adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, the volume of construction works increased overall by 10.3%. Increases were notable in new construction works (+18.0%), capital repair works (+1.5%), and maintenance and current repair works (+0.5%).
  • Regarding construction objects, increases were recorded in engineering constructions (+26.9%) and non-residential buildings (+3.3%), while residential buildings decreased by 9.6%.

January 1 to September 30, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022:

  • The volume of construction works, in gross terms, increased overall by 12.5%. Increases occurred in capital repair works (+22.7%), new construction works (+13.1%), and maintenance and current repair works (+7.0%).
  • Regarding construction objects, there were increases in engineering constructions (+32.4%) and non-residential buildings (+1.2%), while residential buildings decreased by 7.2%.
  • The volume of construction works increased, adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, by 13.1%, with significant growth in capital repair works (+24.4%), new construction works (+13.4%), and maintenance and current repair works (+7.1%).
  • Regarding construction objects, there were increases in engineering constructions (+32.5%) and non-residential buildings (+1.2%), while residential buildings decreased by 6.3%.
