In July 2023, the volume of construction works decreased by 3.8% compared to June 2023 as a raw series but increased by 1.5% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

In July 2023, the volume of construction works increased by 15.8% compared to July 2022 as a raw series and by 15.9% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

For the period from January 1 to July 31, 2023, the volume of construction works increased by 12.4% compared to the same period in 2022 as a raw series and by 13.1% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality.

July 2023 compared to June 2023:

  • The volume of construction works decreased by 3.8% as a raw series, with significant decreases in capital repair works (-12.6%) and current maintenance and repair works (-11.5%). New construction works increased by 0.9%.
  • On construction objects, there were declines in non-residential buildings (-9.9%), residential buildings (-3.2%), and engineering constructions (-0.7%).
  • The volume of construction works increased by 1.5% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, with significant growth in new construction works (+6.3%).
  • Current maintenance and repair works and capital repair works decreased by 5.1% each.
  • On construction objects, the volume of construction works increased in engineering constructions (+3.3%) and residential buildings (+0.3%). Non-residential buildings decreased by 6.0%.

July 2023 compared to July 2022:

  • The volume of construction works increased by 15.8% as a raw series. There were increases in capital repair works (+22.8%), current maintenance and repair works (+14.6%), and new construction works (+15.3%) on structural elements.
  • On construction objects, growth was observed in engineering constructions (+37.6%) and non-residential buildings (+7.7%). Residential buildings decreased by 14.3%.
  • The volume of construction works increased by 15.9% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality. There were significant increases in capital repair works (+23.8%), current maintenance and repair works (+17.5%), and new construction works (+15.1%). Residential buildings decreased by 13.4%.

January 1 to July 31, 2023, compared to the same period in 2022:

  • The volume of construction works increased by 12.4% as a raw series. There were increases in capital repair works (+33.5%), new construction works (+10.5%), and current maintenance and repair works (+10.4%) on structural elements.
  • On construction objects, there were increases in engineering constructions (+33.6%) and non-residential buildings (+0.4%). Residential buildings decreased by 6.4%.
  • The volume of construction works increased by 13.1% when adjusted for the number of working days and seasonality, with significant growth in capital repair works (+32.4%), new construction works (+11.1%), and current maintenance and repair works (+8.7%).
  • On construction objects, there were increases in engineering constructions (+32.8%) and non-residential buildings (+0.8%). Residential buildings decreased by 5.6%.
