Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea conducted a working visit to the Vrancea County, where he participated in the General Assembly of the Secretaries-General of the Counties in Romania and met with local public authorities in Vrancea to discuss projects funded through programs coordinated by the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration.

"You are the people through whose hands all the documents pass, and you understand all the issues of a county. Alongside my colleagues from the Ministry of Development, we are constantly in touch with you to support you in accessing the funds available so that we can ensure citizens have access to quality public services and reduce development disparities between regions," Minister Veștea conveyed to local authorities.

Minister Veștea also inspected the progress of works on two projects funded by the Ministry of Development. Through the National Local Development Program (Phase I), funding of 103,834,980.17 lei was provided for the modernization of the county road 205E Vidra - Vizantea Livezi – Câmpuri, with a length of over 19 km.

"All the construction sites funded by MDLPA for the reconstruction of road infrastructure create new mobility opportunities for the citizens of Romania. This is also the case for this route, which I know has been eagerly awaited by the people of Vrancea, as it represents the largest investment granted through PNDL for a county road in Romania. I am pleased to see that the works are nearing completion, and the road will be reopened to traffic shortly," the Minister of Development stated.

In the village of Vizantea Mănăstireasca, a treatment center is being constructed, funded by the National Investment Company, with an investment of nearly 31 million lei. The project involves the construction of a spa complex with a treatment center, utilizing the mineral waters from the area, known for their healing properties.

In addition to the treatment center, a building with a restaurant and accommodation spaces, an indoor treatment pool, and an outdoor treatment and leisure pool are being constructed. Currently, the works are approximately 50% completed, with the contractual deadline for completion being August of the next year.
