"As someone with experience in administration, I understand the challenges that mayors across the country face, and I know how important it is to access government funds for the development of local communities. This is the main reason why, whenever we meet, I encourage you to think about projects that would benefit the communities you lead and to seek our support when you encounter obstacles in the implementation of investments funded by the Ministry of Development," Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea conveyed to the local public authorities in Gorj during his working visit to the county.

The Minister of Development also checked the progress of certain projects funded by the National Investment Company (CNI), an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration.

For instance, at the Gorj County Court, CNI has provided funding of 12.45 million lei for a new "bar-shaped" building, connected centrally to the existing structure through a system of enclosed and covered walkways on all levels, ensuring access from the central staircase of the existing court.

The new extension has a height regime of ground floor + 4 floors + a partial attic, thereby increasing the court's capacity with 8 council chambers, registry and archive spaces, as well as technical areas.

Through CNI, more than 17.5 million lei has been allocated for the construction of a headquarters for the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Târgu-Jiu Court and the Gorj County Court, and over 6 million lei for the construction of a Type 1 sports facility."
