The Minister of Development, Public Works, and Administration, Adrian Vestea, together with Mehmet Özhaseki, the Turkish Minister of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change, signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of Romania in the field of urban planning.
The cooperation document contains provisions regarding the implementation of concrete actions in:

the field of urban planning, spatial planning, and urban development;

construction works and construction legislation;

contracting, intellectual property, and consultancy, geographic information systems, land registry, cadastre, and mapping;

investments in the urban infrastructure of local administrations;

promoting the participation of economic operators in urbanization projects, especially for municipal infrastructure and housing construction;

organizing annual Romanian-Turkish conferences to stimulate cooperation between local administration institutions and municipalities, etc.
