At the headquarters of CNANDR, the submission of bids for the procurement procedure for the "EXECUTION OF WORKS FOR THE ARAD - ORADEA EXPRESSWAY - Lot 3" contract took place.

The object of the public procurement procedure, with an estimated value of 3,547,944,598.41 Lei excluding VAT, is the execution of works for the Arad - Oradea Expressway Lot 3, with a length of approximately 47.07 km, in accordance with the provisions of the works contract.

The funding source will be provided by Non-Reimbursable European Funds - Transport Program (TP) 2021-2027, and the duration of the works is 24 months.

The future contract includes 29 art works, including a technically complex passage with a length of 591 m. Additionally, the contract includes the construction of the connecting road to the Arad West Industrial Area, with a length of 2.9 km, which will be built as an extension of Street II in the Arad West Industrial Area.

The Arad - Oradea Expressway has a total length of 120.47 km and is divided into 3 distinct lots, as follows:

Lot 1 – with a length of 33.7 km, plus the connecting road to DN 79 – Salonta (5.3 km);

Lot 2 – with a length of 39.7 km, plus the connecting road to the border with Hungary (10 km);

Lot 3 – with a length of 47.07 km, plus the connecting road to the Arad West Industrial Area (2.9 km).
