Ministry of Development Allocates 254,837,491.33 RON for Seismic Strengthening and Modernization of 15 Investment Objectives — announced Minister Cseke Attila

The Ministry of Development has allocated a total of 254,837,491.33 RON for the seismic reinforcement and modernization of 15 investment objectives across Romania, as announced by Minister Cseke Attila.

Hospital Investments

More than 89 million RON have been allocated through the National Investment Programme for Hospital Strengthening – “Mihail Cantacuzino”, for the seismic consolidation and modernization of the Medical Recovery Hospital in Băile Felix (Bihor County).

Education Infrastructure – “Safe and Healthy Schools” Programme

Over 72 million RON are allocated through the “Safe and Healthy Schools” National Investment Programme for the seismic strengthening and modernization of:

• The “Traian Vuia” Technical High School of Metrology in Sector 4, Bucharest;
• The Gymnasium School in Câmpulung la Tisa (Maramureș County);
• The kindergarten with normal schedule in Moșteni (Teleorman County);
• Four educational institutions in Olt County:
• Racovița School in Voineasa
• Primary School in Ursoaia village
• Gymnasium School in Icoana village
• Kindergarten No. 1 in Băbiciu

Seismic Risk Building Rehabilitation Programme

An additional 93 million RON is being granted under the National Programme for the Strengthening of Buildings with High Seismic Risk, aimed at the rehabilitation, seismic consolidation, and energy efficiency improvements of the following buildings:

• Gymnasium School No. 127, Sector 5, Bucharest
• “Ion Heliade Rădulescu” Theoretical High School in Târgoviște (Dâmbovița County)
• Gymnasium School No. 43 in Constanța
• Danubius Vocational School in Tulcea
• A building located at 1 Decembrie 1918 Street, No. 64, Tecuci (Galați County)
• Gymnasium School in Gârdești village, Necșești commune (Teleorman County)
• Dobrița General School in Runcu commune (Gorj County), which will be repurposed as an administrative office building
