Adrian-Ioan Veștea, Minister of Development, Public Works, and Administration, has signed 56 new financing contracts through the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program, totaling 622,708,364.89 lei.

The contracts were signed at the MDLPA headquarters, together with some of the project beneficiaries, and have as their main objectives the modernization of local roads and street infrastructure, the establishment or extension of connections to water supply and sewage networks, as well as the construction and modernization of bridges.

"Since I took office as Minister of Development, I have wanted to meet with you, the local authorities, beneficiaries of the projects carried out by the ministry, precisely to get to know each other and to convey to you that I expect you to initiate integrated projects for water supply, sewage systems, gas distribution, road infrastructure modernization, the consolidation or construction of bridges, all for the benefit of the communities you administer.

After signing the contracts, I firmly request that you closely monitor the execution of the works in accordance with the submitted projects, so that citizens can benefit from the services they need as soon as possible," Minister Veștea told the mayors present today at the Ministry of Development.
