"Through the contracts signed weekly at the headquarters of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration, together with representatives of local authorities, we aim for the well-being of people, the reduction and elimination of socio-economic disparities, and the simultaneous and sustained development of all regions of the country," emphasized Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea on the occasion of signing 40 new financing contracts through the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program.

The projects, totaling 423,815,052.55 lei, aim to modernize local roads, establish or modernize drinking water supply systems, household sewage networks, and wastewater treatment plants, establish or expand natural gas distribution systems, create bike lanes, and build bridges.

The "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program aims to achieve over 9,000 km of water supply networks, 17,000 km of sewerage networks, 2,000 km of county roads, and 15,000 km of local roads. Additionally, another 104 investment objectives will receive funding, taken from the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM), for natural gas distribution systems.
