Minister Cseke Attila Inaugurates Romania’s 22nd Nursery Under the "Sfânta Ana" Government Construction Program

Minister Cseke Attila officially opened a new nursery in the city of Pitești, marking the 22nd facility completed under the Romanian Government’s "Sfânta Ana" Nursery Construction Program, coordinated by the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration.

The newly built nursery accommodates four groups and includes a modern administrative area, child-friendly zones with sleeping quarters and playrooms, as well as dedicated technical and operational spaces such as a fully equipped kitchen and laundry room.

“With this facility, we are providing 40 new places for toddlers in Pitești. Construction is also underway for similar nurseries in other localities across the country,” stated Minister Cseke Attila. “In the near future, we will be inaugurating nurseries in Piatra-Neamț, Câmpulung Moldovenesc, Deva, and Zalău.”

The total investment amounts to 7.8 million lei, funded through European Union resources, under Component 15 – Education of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).
