The Romanian Ministry of Development Launches Second Call for Small-Scale Projects under Interreg NEXT VI-A Romania–Ukraine Programme

The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, as the Managing Authority for the Interreg NEXT VI-A Romania–Ukraine 2021–2027 Programme, has officially launched the second call for proposals for small-scale projects under the Programme.

This call targets projects with tangible cross-border impact, aligned with the following specific objectives:

  • Specific Objective 2.1: Improving equal access to quality and inclusive education, training, and lifelong learning through the development of accessible infrastructure, including the promotion of resilience for distance and online education and training.
  • Specific Objective 3.1: Enhancing efficient public administration by promoting legal and administrative cooperation and collaboration between citizens, civil society actors, and institutions—particularly to overcome legal, capacity-related, and other obstacles in the border region.

Eligible Applicants

Entities eligible to apply under this call include:

  • Regional, county, and local public authorities
  • Public institutions
  • Educational institutions
  • NGOs
  • Other relevant organizations aligned with the objectives of the call
