Minister of Development, Public Works, and Administration, Adrian-Ioan Veștea, conducted a working visit to the municipality of Slobozia (Ialomița County), where he discussed the progress of two projects funded by the ministry through the National Investment Company.

The multipurpose sports hall in the city is currently in the design phase, with the required permits obtained through the urbanism certificate, and the documentation for the construction permit has been submitted.

The facility will be constructed on a height regime of G+2F+3Fpart, with a maximum capacity of 2,266 people, and will include spaces for sports practice and spectators, as well as ancillary areas. The total investment value is 70,754,373.95 lei, and the project is expected to be completed in 40 months (4 months for design and 36 months for construction).

"We have committed to stand by all localities in Romania through all the investments we finance, and it is crucial that we can contribute, through these projects, to improving the quality of life for residents. By investing in sports, we invest in our health and the health of our children," stated the Minister of Development.

In Slobozia, MDLPA will also finance a modern nZEB-type nursery, with a value of 13,012,002.11 lei, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The nursery will have a capacity of 7 groups (70 children) and will be equipped with solar and photovoltaic panels to ensure the energy and hot water needs are met from renewable sources.
