Over 2,000 Free Land Registry Extracts Issued Since Service Became Free for Property Owners in Romania
A total of 2,152 land registry extracts have been issued free of charge in Romania since this public service became free for property owners, announced Minister of Development, Cseke Attila.
As is widely known, the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI), an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, provides land registry extracts, cadastral plan extracts, and first registration extracts free of charge for property owners, provided the applicant requests the documents in person. Starting June 2, the service will also be available free of charge online.
“We are enforcing the state’s respect for its citizens by eliminating the fee previously charged for a public service delivered by a publicly funded institution,” stated Development Minister Cseke Attila.
