March 2025 Real Estate Trends: Apartment Prices Rise by
12% Nationwide
In March 2025, the average selling prices for
apartments—both new and old—recorded a 12% increase compared to the same month
of 2024, according to the latest data from Storia, the real estate platform
launched by OLX.
Buyer-seller interactions rose by 22% year-over-year (March
2025 vs. March 2024), but dropped by 2% month-over-month (March 2025 vs.
February 2025).
Average Apartment Prices in BUCHAREST
In Bucharest, the combined average price for new and old
apartments was €1,963/sqm in March 2025, up 9% from March 2024. Old apartments
were, on average, 21% more expensive than in March 2024, reaching €2,140/sqm,
while new apartments saw a modest increase of 1%, averaging €1,835/sqm.
