The National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI) has extended the funding contracts for systematic property registration works on cadastral sectors, concluded under the eighth stage of financing.

The new regulations came into effect with the publication in the Official Gazette of Romania of Order no. 518/2024 by the General Director of ANCPI, regarding the modification and completion of the Procedure and the method of allocating funds, as well as the reporting by beneficiaries of the progress of the works for the systematic registration works initiated by administrative-territorial units, approved by the General Director of ANCPI's Order no. 819/2016.

According to the new provisions, which aim to accelerate the implementation of the National Cadastre and Land Book Program (PNCCF), the validity period for the aforementioned contracts can be extended until November 30, 2024, for systematic registration works for which the quantitative and qualitative reception report related to Delivery no. 1 "Cadastral technical documents - for publication" has been issued by June 30, 2024.

Order no. 518/2024 by the General Director of ANCPI, which provides for the extension of funding contracts for the systematic registration of properties on cadastral sectors, concluded in the first two quarters of 2022, under the eighth stage of financing, between municipalities and cadastral and real estate publicity offices, was published in the Official Gazette of Romania no. 516/03.06.2024.

To date, ANCPI, a public institution subordinate to the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration (MDLPA), has registered over 7.1 million properties in the integrated cadastre and land book system through PNCCF.

The aim of PNCCF is the free registration for citizens of all immovable properties (lands and buildings) in Romania in the integrated cadastre and land book system. The program is funded from ANCPI's own revenues, European funds, and the local budgets of municipalities.
