Over 1 Million Online Land Registry Documents Issued by ANCPI in First Five Months of 2025

The National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) has issued 1,018,489 documents online via its platform epay.ancpi.ro in the first five months of 2025.

For comparison, during the same period in 2024, ANCPI issued:

• 821,365 land book excerpts for information
• 114,842 cadastral map excerpts (on orthophotoplan)

The documents issued digitally and without handwritten signature are legally recognized by:

• Local and central public institutions
• Banks and financial institutions
• Lawyers and notaries

📊 May 2025 Highlights

In May 2025, ANCPI (a public institution under the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration) delivered via its online platform:

• 165,600 land book excerpts for information
• 23,946 cadastral map excerpts (on orthophotoplan)

In April 2025, the agency delivered:

• 150,102 land book excerpts
• 22,473 cadastral map excerpts

In May 2025 alone:

• 10,169 new users registered on epay.ancpi.ro
• 149,883 orders were placed online

• If available electronically, the document can be downloaded in minutes
• If not yet digitized, delivery takes up to two working days
• 📍 Cadastral plan excerpt (orthophotoplan): 15 RON

✅ As of June 2, 2025, property owners can access these documents for free, both in person at ANCPI offices and online.

🏠 Digitized Property Records

Over 26 million properties are currently registered in Romania’s integrated digital cadastre and land book system.

This means that users requesting land book excerpts for these properties can expect rapid delivery via the platform.
