Over 650,000 Land Registry Documents Issued Online by ANCPI in Q1 2025

The National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI) issued 656,368 documents online through the platform epay.ancpi.ro in the first three months of 2025.

By comparison, during the same period in 2024, ANCPI issued 500,730 land book excerpts for information and 68,728 cadastral map extracts based on the orthophotomap.

Documents issued online by ANCPI, even without a handwritten signature, are officially recognized by local and central authorities, banks, lawyers, notaries, and other institutions.

March 2025 Activity

In March 2025, ANCPI—an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA)—provided online:

• 194,220 land book excerpts for information, and
• 26,439 cadastral map extracts on orthophotomaps.

In February 2025, the agency issued:

• 187,549 land book excerpts, and
• 24,546 cadastral map extracts via the same platform.

During March 2025, 11,448 new users registered on the epay.ancpi.ro platform, which recorded a total of 174,489 online orders.

Online Service Costs and Delivery Time

• The cost of a land book excerpt for information ordered online is 20 lei, compared to 25 lei at the counter of a local cadastre office.
• If the requested document is already digitized, it can be downloaded within minutes. If not yet available in electronic format, the waiting time is up to two working days.
• The cost of a cadastral map extract (on orthophotomap) issued online is 15 lei.
• Both types of documents are free of charge at the counter for property owners requesting documents for their own properties.

About the Platform

The platform epay.ancpi.ro, managed by ANCPI, is available to both individuals and legal entities. Orders are placed online and paid securely by bank card.
