In September 2023, a total of 55,614 properties were sold nationwide, which is 3,811 fewer than in August. The number of houses, lands, and apartments involved in transactions in September was 6,440 less than the same period in 2022.

The highest number of property sales in September 2023 were recorded in Bucharest - 10,750, Ilfov - 4,024, and Brașov - 2,978. The counties with the fewest properties sold during the same period are Teleorman - 146, Olt - 213, and Covasna - 267.

The number of mortgages at the national level in September 2023 was 26,526, which is 4,357 higher than in September 2022. The highest number of such operations were recorded in Bucharest - 5,784, Ialomița - 2,367, and Ilfov - 2,072. On the other hand, the counties with the fewest mortgages were Salaj - 58, Gorj - 68, and Covasna - 73.

The counties with the highest number of agricultural land sales in the ninth month of 2023 were Dolj - 999, Arad - 595, and Buzău - 495.
