ANCPI informs that in May 2023, 57,199 properties were sold throughout the country, 15,278 more than in April. The number of houses, land and apartments that were the subject of transactions in May is 7,407 less than in the same period of 2022. The most property sales were recorded in May 2023 in Bucharest – 8,409, Ilfov – 3,807 and Brașov – 3,348. The counties with the fewest properties sold in the same period are Olt – 196, Covasna – 370 and Caraș Severin – 478. The number of mortgages, at national level, in May 2023, was 22,088, 4,285 less than in May 2022. more operations of this kind were registered in Bucharest – 3,581, Ilfov – 1,720 and Constanța – 1,573. At the opposite pole are the counties of Gorj – 48, Harghita – 60 and Sălaj – 65. The counties where the most agricultural land was sold in the fifth month of 2023 are Dolj – 838, Constanța – 760 and Mehedinți – 740.
