The National Housing Agency (ANL), an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration (MDLPA), has received 30 rental homes for young people in the town of Ardud (Satu Mare county).
The housing units (10 studios and 20 two-room apartments) were constructed on Florilor Street, with a structure of P+3F+M (ground floor + 3 floors + attic), and the total investment value amounted to 9,943,638.40 lei (including VAT).
To date, in Satu Mare county, within the young people's rental housing construction program, ANL has completed 539 housing units in the following localities:
The young people's rental housing construction program was launched by ANL in 2001. The homes are built on land provided to the Agency by local authorities, and the beneficiaries are young people aged 18 to 35 who meet the legal conditions for accessing such housing.
Access is granted through the submission of applications to the town halls, which then compile distribution lists.
Currently, young people's homes can be purchased by tenants after a minimum one-year rental period, through the payment of equal monthly installments to local authorities, by contracting mortgage loans from authorized financial institutions, including with state guarantee, or by the full payment of the final price from personal sources.
The necessary funds for the program are provided from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration (MDLPA), from local budgets, as well as from other legally constituted sources.
