The National Housing Agency (ANL), an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration, has officially received 24 rental housing units for young people in the commune of Poiana Stampei (Suceava County).

The residences, consisting of 5 studios, 17 two-bedroom apartments, and 2 three-bedroom apartments, were built on a structure with a ground floor and three upper floors (P+3E+M), with a total investment value of 7,705,980.60 lei (including VAT).

To date, in Suceava County, within the same program, ANL has completed 1,064 housing units in various localities:

• Rădăuţi (140)
• Siret (28)
• Gura Humorului (96)
• Vicovu de Sus (12)
• Câmpulung Moldovenesc (80)

The housing construction program for young people, intended for renting, was launched by ANL in 2001. The residences are built on lands provided by local authorities, and the beneficiaries are young individuals between 18 and 35 years old who meet the conditions specified by law to access such housing.

Access is granted through the submission of applications to municipalities, which then compile distribution lists.

Currently, young people renting these properties have the option to purchase them after a minimum one-year leasing period. This can be achieved by making equal monthly payments to local authorities, obtaining mortgage loans from authorized financial institutions, including state-guaranteed loans, or paying the full price from personal sources.

The necessary funds for the program are provided from the state budget, through the budget of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration, local budgets, as well as other legally constituted sources.
