The National Housing Agency (ANL), an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration (MDLPA), has completed the reception of 24 rental apartments for young people in the city of Siret (Suceava County).

These apartments (2-room units) were built at the location on Silvestru Iaricevschi Street No. 3, with a height regime of G+3F (ground floor + 3 floors), with a total investment value of 4,764,516.43 lei (including VAT).

To date, in Suceava County, ANL has finalized 1,088 housing units under the same program, located in the following localities: Fălticeni (212), Vatra Dornei (142), Suceava (354), Rădăuți (140), Siret (28), Gura Humorului (96), Vicovu de Sus (12), Poiana Stampei (24), and Câmpulung Moldovenesc (80).

The housing construction program for young people for rental purposes was launched by ANL in 2001. The houses are built on land provided to the Agency by local public authorities, targeting beneficiaries aged between 18 and 35 who meet the legal requirements to access such housing. Applications are submitted to the municipalities, which compile allocation lists.

Currently, the rental units for young people can be purchased by tenants after a minimum one-year rental period, either by paying equal monthly installments to local public authorities, by contracting mortgage loans from authorized financial institutions, including state-guaranteed loans, or by fully paying the final price from own sources.
