Romanian Ministry of Development Allocates Over 79 Million Lei for Seismic Strengthening of Two Hospitals
The Ministry of Development is allocating 79,388,898.14 lei for the seismic strengthening of two hospitals, Minister Cseke Attila announced.
“We have modern legislation and record-budget financing programs for the seismic retrofitting of hospitals, schools, public buildings, and residential blocks.
Today, I signed the financing for the consolidation of two hospitals, but the budget has not yet been exhausted. Therefore, I reiterate my call for local authorities to treat this matter as a priority,” the minister stated.
As such, the Ministry of Development is allocating over 43 million lei for the seismic strengthening of the Recovery, Physical Medicine, and Balneology Unit of the Drobeta-Turnu Severin County Emergency Hospital.
