The Competition Council has authorized the transaction through which Grampet Logistics S.R.L. intends to acquire Electromontaj Carpați S.A.

Grampet Logistics S.R.L. is a provider of transport solutions in Europe and Asia, integrating various modes of transport and auxiliary services in the logistics chain, offering personalized services.

The company is a member of the Grampet group, mainly active in the freight transport services market, especially rail transport, and related activities.

Electromontaj Carpați S.A. main activity is construction works for utility projects in the electricity and telecommunications sectors.

Following the analysis, the Competition Council has found that this transaction does not raise significant obstacles to effective competition in the Romanian market or in a substantial part thereof, and there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a normal competitive environment.
