In the past six months, the demand for geotextile material was estimated at 9.49 million square meters, according to Victa.ro, the only virtual bidding assistant for construction sites.

During this period, 705 projects in various stages of construction were monitored across the country.

Among these, Timiș County was the most prolific with 58 projects, followed by Bihor County with 50 projects and Cluj County with 44 projects.

It is estimated that 23.32 billion lei will be invested in these projects. The majority of these investments come from public funds, with 678 projects fully financed by public money.
