Upcoming Call for Projects: Guide to Funding for
Increasing Competitiveness in the Construction Sector – South-East Regional
Programme 2021–2027
According to the estimated call calendar published by the
South-East Regional Development Agency, acting as Managing Authority for the South-East
Regional Programme 2021–2027, the final version of the funding guide aimed at
boosting competitiveness in the construction sector will soon be published.
This project call targets investments carried out by:

Microenterprises
in urban areas, and
-
Small
and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in both urban and rural areas
within the six counties of Romania’s South-East Region: Vrancea, Buzău,
Brăila, Galați, Tulcea, and Constanța
(excluding the ITI Danube Delta area).
✅ Eligible Activities Include:

Construction,
modernization, or expansion of production/service spaces for SMEs;
-
Acquisition
of tangible assets (equipment, machinery, etc.);
-
Acquisition
of installations or specific equipment for the purpose of energy savings;
-
Acquisition
of intangible assets (licenses, software, patents);
-
Investments
related to the circular economy.

Maximum
non-reimbursable financial assistance: €1,500,000

Minimum
requested amount per project: €220,000

The investment must be made by:

Urban
microenterprises, or
-
Small
and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) operating in urban or rural areas;

The sector of investment must be eligible under the programme;
-
📊
The applicant must have:
-
Operated
for at least one full fiscal year;
-
Had
no suspended activity during the current or previous year;
-
Registered
operating profit in 2024;
-
👥
The applicant must have had at least one employee (average number) in the
year prior to application and must commit to maintaining at least this
average throughout the evaluation, contracting, implementation, and
sustainability period.
