The Competition Council is analyzing the transaction through which Grampet Logistics S.R.L. intends to acquire Electromontaj Carpați S.A.

Grampet Logistics S.R.L. is a provider of transport solutions in Europe and Asia, integrating various modes of transportation and auxiliary services in the logistics chain, offering personalized services.

The company is a member of the Grampet group, mainly active in the freight transport services market, especially rail transport, and related activities.

Electromontaj Carpați S.A. has as its main activity the construction of utility projects for electricity and telecommunications.

In accordance with the provisions of Competition Law no. 21/1996, this transaction must be authorized by the Competition Council, which will evaluate it to determine its compatibility with a normal competitive environment and will issue a decision within the deadlines provided by law.
