In December 2024, the volume of construction works increased compared to November 2024 by 26.3% in gross series and by 3.3% in seasonally and working-day adjusted series.

Compared to December 2023, the volume of construction works decreased by 11.6% in gross series and by 14.3% in seasonally and working-day adjusted series.

For the entire year 2024, the volume of construction works decreased by 5.9% compared to 2023 in gross series.

December 2024 Compared to November 2024

The volume of construction works increased by 26.3% in gross series, with growth observed in:

• Capital repair works (+40.3%)
• Maintenance and current repair works (+27.2%)
• New construction works (+23.8%)

By construction type, increases were recorded in:

• Residential buildings (+51.6%)
• Non-residential buildings (+32.6%)
• Engineering construction works (+17.5%)

In the seasonally and working-day adjusted series, the volume of construction works increased by 3.3%, with growth in:

• Capital repair works (+12.2%)
• New construction works (+5.4%)
• Maintenance and current repair works (+5.3%)

By construction type, increases were recorded in:

• Residential buildings (+25.6%)
• Non-residential buildings (+12.5%)

Engineering construction works decreased by 1.4%.
