Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea participated in the signing of the financing contract for the rehabilitation and extension of the school campus of "Mihail Kogălniceanu" High School in Snagov commune (Ilfov County).

The project aims to consolidate the existing buildings of the boarding school (currently with a capacity of 25 rooms), the multifunctional hall, as well as the extension of existing constructions.

Upon completion of the works, the boarding school will have 50 rooms (each with its own bathroom), a dining hall, a reading room, and modernized medical offices.

At the same time, electrical installations will be carried out to meet modern requirements in terms of comfort and energy efficiency. All sanitary installations and fittings will be completely refurbished, as well as the finishes of all building units, and a video surveillance system will be installed for the high school and boarding school.

"I have requested both the beneficiaries and the builders to closely monitor the progress of the works and the adherence to the deadlines of each stage of execution, so that we have quality, modern, and durable works, and I assured all those involved that I will oversee the implementation of this project carefully," Minister Veștea emphasized.

The investment, worth 45,834,879 lei, will be carried out through the National Investment Company, with a design period of 6 months and a construction period of 24 months.
