"Through programs coordinated by the Ministry of Development, residents have equal access to quality services. We already have successful examples of projects that produce visible effects in the medium and long term, and we continue to support local communities in the development process," stated Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea on the occasion of signing 25 new financing contracts through the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program.

The projects, with a total value of 326,828,899.51 lei, aim to modernize both local roads and establish or modernize drinking water supply systems, household sewerage networks, wastewater treatment plants, and natural gas distribution systems.

The "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program aims to achieve over 9,000 km of water supply networks, 17,000 km of sewerage networks, 2,000 km of county roads, and 15,000 km of local roads, as well as 104 investment objectives taken from the Large Infrastructure Operational Program (POIM) for natural gas distribution systems.
