Over 1 Billion Lei Disbursed by MDLPA for 616 Infrastructure Projects under “Anghel Saligny” Investment Program

The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA) has transferred 1,025,744,648.36 lei (approx. €206 million) for the reimbursement of invoices related to 616 investment objectives financed through the National Investment Program “Anghel Saligny”, Minister Cseke Attila announced.

The funded projects focus on:

• Rehabilitation and modernization of road infrastructure
• Water supply networks
• Sewage systems and wastewater treatment plants
• Stormwater drainage and collection systems
• Natural gas distribution systems

These payments were made in accordance with Government Decision No. 42/2025, which establishes the prioritization criteria for transfer requests under the “Anghel Saligny” Program for 2025.

"This substantial disbursement represents a clear step forward in improving the quality of life in Romanian communities, especially in rural and underdeveloped areas. The investments ensure better connectivity, sanitation, and access to essential utilities," said Minister Cseke Attila.
