The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration (MDLPA) has made payments totaling RON 30,877,515 for ten investment objectives financed through the ministry’s programs, Minister Cseke Attila announced.

The largest share of the disbursed funds, amounting to RON 29,425,000, was allocated to four projects aimed at modernizing district heating systems in the Municipality of Bucharest and Vâlcea County. These investments contribute to increasing the energy efficiency of existing infrastructure, reducing network losses, and improving the quality of services provided to the population. The modernization of centralized heating systems represents an essential step toward lowering operational costs and environmental impact, in line with national energy transition objectives.

In addition, RON 1,452,515 was allocated to six projects focused on the drafting and/or updating of urban planning documentation — General Urban Plans (PUG) and Local Urban Planning Regulations (RLU) — in the counties of Alba, Arad, Bihor, Dâmbovița, Olt, and Sălaj. Updating these planning instruments is essential for the coherent development of local communities, facilitating both public and private investment, and increasing predictability in the construction permitting process.

Through these payments, MDLPA continues to support infrastructure and urban development projects with a direct impact on citizens’ quality of life and on local economic competitiveness.
