MDLPA organized a meeting at the level of state secretaries between Romania and the Republic of Moldova

Alexandru Stoica, State Secretary in the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, met today with a delegation from the Ministry of Economy and Digitalization of the Republic of Moldova, led by State Secretaries Veronica Arpintin and Viorel Garaz.

The discussions focused primarily on the progress of the implementation of the Technical and Financial Assistance Agreement worth 100 million euros, granted by Romania to the Republic of Moldova, on the importance of administrative capacity, and the use of twinning instruments/participation in transnational cooperation projects.

The meeting was organized with the aim of ensuring a competent human resource capable of managing and implementing financing programs and projects, as well as the role of central and local public authorities in ensuring conditions for regional development.

In this regard, State Secretary Alexandru Stoica reiterated the Ministry of Development's readiness to provide expertise and exchange best practices for areas related to the development of local communities, promoting housing policies, as well as measures to streamline administrative processes and improve the quality of public services.
