Cseke Attila Signs Funding Contracts for Seismic Strengthening of Four Buildings

Cseke Attila, Minister of Development, Public Works, and Administration, has signed funding contracts securing the necessary funds for four projects to be seismically strengthened through the National Program for the Consolidation of Buildings with High Seismic Risk, implemented by the Ministry of Development.

"All institutional prerequisites have been created so that this investment program, well-known to local authorities, can be successfully implemented. I urge local authorities to request funding for seismic assessments and for the consolidation of buildings," emphasized Minister Cseke Attila.

Investments in Vaslui, Olt, and Teleorman Counties

The Ministry will allocate almost 140 million lei for the strengthening and rehabilitation of the three buildings of Mihai Eminescu High School in Bârlad, Vaslui County.

Additionally, in Olt County, nearly 5 million lei will be invested in the strengthening and modernization of the administrative building in Cârlogani commune, and another 5 million lei will go toward the integrated rehabilitation of the cultural center in Vulpeni commune.

In Teleorman County, the festivity hall of Alexandru Bădăuță Secondary School in Zâmbreasca commune will also be rehabilitated, with an investment exceeding 1.8 million lei.
