CNAIR (Compania Națională de Administrare a Infrastructurii Rutiere) announces that the submission of bids has taken place for the procurement procedure regarding the "Feasibility Study for the Modernization/Widening of DN 1 between Henri Coandă Airport - A0 Junction at profile 3+3".

The duration of the contract is 8 months, of which 7 months are allocated for the completion of the Feasibility Study.

The estimated value of the contract is 1,530,543.81 lei without VAT, and the source of funding will be provided from Non-Reimbursable European Funds.

The overall objective of the project is the modernization/widening to a 3+3 profile of the section on DN 1 between Henri Coandă Airport - A0 Junction, aiming to connect with the Bucharest Ring Road - A0 Objective, with complete traffic separation over the proposed distance and the possibility of left-turning for return after the A0 junction towards Bucharest - Ploiești direction.

Furthermore, during this week, the submission of bids has taken place for the procurement procedure regarding the "Feasibility Study for Road Junctions to Ensure Connectivity to Highway A7, Buzău - Focșani Section in the Boboc - Cochirleanca Area, Highway A2 in the Fetești - Borcea Area, and Highway A0 in the Clinceni Area."

The road junction on Highway A7 in the Boboc - Cochirleanca area and the junction on Highway A2 in the Fetești - Borcea area have both civilian and military dual utility, serving the Boboc airbase and the Borcea airbase from a military perspective.

The road junction on Highway A0 will allow access from existing roads in the Clinceni area to the Bucharest Ring Road.
