Industrial constructions represent one of the most dynamic segments of the Romanian market, fueled by investments in logistics, manufacturing, and infrastructure. In 2024, the total volume of industrial constructions exceeded 2.5 million m², according to Colliers Romania data, marking a 10% increase compared to the previous year.
The highest demand comes from the logistics and e-commerce sectors, where storage facilities and distribution centers are essential. The average construction cost for a standard industrial hall ranges between €450 and €600/m², depending on size, location, and technical specifications.
Current trends include the development of green halls, certified BREEAM or LEED, which reduce energy consumption and provide tax benefits to developers. In addition, more and more projects are integrating rooftop photovoltaic panels and automation solutions for logistics management.
Experts estimate that by 2030, demand for industrial constructions in Romania will continue to grow, driven by the relocation of European production and the expansion of transport networks.
