Signify tops the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices for the seventh year in a row

Signify (Euronext: LIGHT), the global leader in lighting, has been included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index for the seventh consecutive year. The inclusion in the index is based on the Corporate Sustainability Assessment conducted by S&P Global, where Signify achieved an overall score of 80 out of 100.

This reaffirms Signify's position as a sustainability leader, ranking second among companies in the electrical components and equipment sector.

"The Dow Jones Sustainability World Index is a key indicator of sustainability performance, and we are honored to be included for another year," said Eric Rondolat, CEO of Signify.

"This achievement reflects the deep integration of sustainability into our business strategy and operations, strengthening our commitment to incorporate climate action and sustainability throughout our value chain."

As of December 8, 2023, Signify scored a perfect 100/100 in 50 categories, including Emission Reduction Targets, Low Emission Products, Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy, Energy Consumption, Innovation Management, IT/Cybersecurity Measures, Human Rights - Assessment, Mitigation, and Remedy.

In 2023, the third year of Signify's ambitious Brighter Lives, Better World 2025 sustainability program, the company remained on track to double the pace of the Paris Agreement scenario, aiming for a 1.5°C increase.

In the third quarter of this year, the company reported achieving its circular revenue target for the Brighter Lives, Better World 2025 sustainability program, reaching 32%.

Revenue from Brighter Lives increased by 31%, on track to reach the 32% target by 2025. These actions contribute to Signify's ambition to double its positive impact on the environment and society by the end of 2025.
