The Competition Council has authorized the transaction through which Melinda-Impex Instal S.A. intends to acquire Dennymona MG S.R.L. and Arnew DEN S.R.L.

Melinda-Impex Instal S.A. is a national importer and distributor of installation materials and sanitary objects, particularly in the Arad county territory.

Dennymona MG S.R.L. and Arnew DEN S.R.L. sell thermal installation products and sanitary objects in the Arad county.

Following the analysis, the Competition Council has found that this operation does not raise significant barriers to effective competition on the Romanian market or on a substantial part thereof, and there are no serious doubts regarding its compatibility with a normal competitive environment.

The decision will be published on the website of the national competition authority after the removal of confidential information.
