According to the National Agency for Cadastre and Land Registration (ANCPI), in March 2024, a total of 54,358 properties were sold nationwide, which is 565 more than in February.

The number of houses, lands, and apartments involved in transactions in March is 3,141 fewer compared to the same period in 2023.

The highest number of property sales in March 2024 was recorded in Bucharest - 10,251, followed by Ilfov - 4,230, and Timiș - 2,605. The counties with the fewest properties sold during the same period are Teleorman - 143, Covasna - 329, and Sălaj - 419.

The number of mortgages nationwide in March 2024 was 25,727, which is 4,886 higher than in March 2023. The most mortgage operations were recorded in Bucharest - 5,138, followed by Ilfov - 2,137, and Constanța - 2,080. On the other hand, the counties with the fewest mortgage operations are Harghita - 53, Tulcea - 94, and Sălaj - 95.

The counties with the highest number of agricultural land sold in the third month of 2024 are Buzău - 638, Bihor - 612, and Dolj - 611.
