In April 2024, a total of 61,718 properties were sold nationwide, an increase of 7,360 compared to March.

The number of houses, lands, and apartments transacted in April was 19,797 higher than the same period in 2023.

The highest number of property sales in April 2024 were recorded in Bucharest – 11,006, Ilfov – 4,982, and Brasov – 3,110. The counties with the fewest properties sold during the same period were Teleorman – 114, Tulcea – 330, and Covasna – 344.

The number of mortgages nationwide in April 2024 was 29,818, an increase of 13,975 compared to April 2023. The most mortgage operations were recorded in Bucharest – 5,428, Constanta – 2,659, and Ilfov – 2,484. Conversely, the counties with the fewest mortgage transactions were Gorj – 95, Salaj – 97, and Harghita – 103.

The counties with the highest number of agricultural land sales in the fourth month of 2024 were Buzau – 818, Dolj – 790, and Timis – 770.
