In the early months of 2025, Romania’s construction industry continues to provide significant opportunities for suppliers of helicopter-troweled concrete flooring, with a marked increase in demand—especially within the industrial sector.

According to data from VICTA.ro, the market shows strong growth indicators:

• Number of construction sites: A total of 2,240 active construction sites have been recorded during the first part of 2025, marking a 176.54% increase compared to the 810 projects recorded in the same period of 2024.
• Flooring surface: Ongoing projects are estimated to require 4.73 million square meters of helicopter-troweled concrete floors.
• Investment value: The estimated investment value for the monitored projects reaches 36.59 billion lei, with 2,019 projects being privately funded.
