The National Housing Agency (ANL), an institution under the authority of the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration (MDLPA), has officially received 16 rental homes for young people in the commune of Lechința (Bistrița-Năsăud County).
The housing units, consisting of 5 studios and 11 two-bedroom apartments, were built on a ground floor plus three floors (P+3E) structure, with a total investment value of 4,778,523.28 lei.
To date, within the same program, ANL has completed a total of 1,280 housing units in Bistrița-Năsăud County, distributed across various localities: Bistrița (797), Năsăud (58), Beclean (275), Dumitra (12), Maieru (24), Livezile (18), Lunca Ilvei (32), Feldru (32), Bistrița Bârgăului (16), and Prundu Bârgăului (16).
The program for the construction of rental housing for young people was launched by ANL in 2001. The housing units are built on land made available to the Agency by local public authorities. The beneficiaries are young individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 who meet the conditions required by law to access such housing. The application process involves submitting requests to the local town halls, which will then compile the distribution lists.
Currently, the rental homes for young people can be purchased by the tenants themselves after a minimum one-year rental period. This can be done by making equal monthly payments to the local public authorities, obtaining mortgage loans from authorized financial institutions, including with state guarantees, or by fully paying the final price from their own sources.
