Adrian-Ioan Veștea, the Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration, signed 48 new financing contracts through the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program, totaling 465,503,219.68 lei.

The contracts were signed, at the MDLPA headquarters, together with the beneficiaries of the projects and have, as their main objectives, the modernization of roads of local interest and street infrastructure, the establishment or expansion of connections to the water supply and sewerage networks, as well as the construction and modernization of some bridges.

"We continue to implement projects that will lead to the development of all localities in the country, as the modernization of roads or the connection to running water or sewage systems is a necessity, not a luxury, and Romanians must benefit from these basic services as soon as possible" , Minister Veștea specified to the mayors present, today, at the Ministry of Development.

With these projects, the number of contracts signed within the "Anghel Saligny" National Investment Program amounts to 1,642, with a total value of 18,185,511,283.78 lei.
