At the headquarters of the National Company for Motorways and National Roads of Romania (CNAIR), the submission of bids took place for the procurement procedure "Design and Execution of Works for the Realignment of the Route Located Between km 10+009 - km 12+000 and km 21+406 – km 24+890," pertaining to the Brașov - Târgu Mureș – Cluj - Oradea highway, subsection 3A2: Nădășelu - Mihăiești (km 8+700 – km 25+500).

Until the deadline, the only bidder was the Consortium OZALTIN INSAAT TICARET VE SANAYI A.S. - ILGAZ INSAAT TICARET A.S. - VISIO CONSTRUCTION WORKS S.R.L (Turkey – Romania).

The works for the area between km 10+009 and km 12+000 involve rerouting the route downstream by constructing a viaduct with a length of 1.2 km, founded on large-diameter bored piles, without affecting the slope in the work area.

Regarding the area between km 21+406 and km 24+890, the highway route will be diverted in the km 21+406.49 zone by constructing a viaduct approximately 2 km in length.

This will lead to crossing downstream of the route of National Road DN 1F and the course of the Topa Mică Creek, reaching the left bank of the latter in a relatively flat area. Connection to the existing route will be made in the km 24+890 zone of the original route.

The contract duration is 27 months, with 9 months for the design period and 18 months for the execution of works.

The estimated value of the contract is 1,114,273,701.00 lei without VAT, with funding provided through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR).

In the coming period, the Evaluation Commission will analyze the bid in accordance with the provisions of the tender documentation and current public procurement legislation.
